An eccentric place. Was one of the last 3 brewpubs in the country until the advent of CAMRA. Small rooms with front parlour atmosphere. Real ale, mainly from the brewery at the rear of the premises. Regularly in the CAMRA Good Beer Guide. On street parking only. Close to Blist Hill Museum, so can get a bit touristy. One for the connoisseur.

Quaint home brew house well worth the effort to visit. Very busy on the quiz night on Monday. Good selection of beers and rolls.
