Steve C left this review about The Liquor Vaults

The Liquor Vaults is a thin pub with some front seating at street level before steps lead up to the bar area where a counter runs up the right, and then more seating can be found at the rear. Standard and premium keg were available alongside a lone hand pump that was badged with Sharp’s Doom Bar. Televisions are found throughout for airing Sky Sports, with Racing TV being the channel of choice during a Tuesday evening visit. There’s a dartboard to the right of the bar and some of the locals were playing on a very small football table that looked like a cheap child’s toy. The people I met seemed to have a very high opinion of themselves and the women behind the bar wasn’t exactly welcoming. Next time I’ll walk past.

Karaoke at 5.30 on a Thursday says it all. Bad karaoke at that. There was Robinson's Trooper on draught.

A long corner pub. Very well worn kinda place. No real ale on today. It looks like it doesnt do it anyway.

The Talbot is a smallish corner pub that is in the middle of Stoke.
Once inside this pub is on two levels, the lower level has seating, this area looked quite smart with comfy bench seating and small stools, the bar is on the upper level to the rear of the pub.
This pub used to be a Bass tied house with a decent drink of Bass on the bar,i am not sure what beers are now in this pub.
