Komakino . left this review about The Wheatsheaf

Located behind the wonderfully-named Champs Chapel Museum, this is a cosy village boozer with a lean to the dining side (all tables were laid with tablecloths, set with cutlery and had reserved signs on them). The interior is split into three parts - the main room entered into has an inglenook fireplace located to the left on entry with a room to the left accessed via an open doorway which is bare boarded and has tables and chairs for dining. A third part to the right up a step which abuts the bar is cosy and intimate with a further fireplace against the right-hand wall, with this area and the centre carpeted. The bar is a small, chamfered L-shape with precious little room to congregate around. Three handpumps were either unclipped or had the clip reversed. Loose Cannon's Abingdon Bridge was available from a hidden dispenser beneath the bar and was £1.90 for a half. There's a smattering of bric-a-brac in and around including a Yard of Ale, Toby Jugs, Bottle Collection and old photos of the pub from the 30s. This is a super village pub, but space and opening hours are a premium, so time a visit right (closer to opening than closing is good, as it can be a bit of a scrum at the latter).
