Komakino . left this review about The Queens Head

A proper pub, two-roomed, with a separate, sunken area housing a pool table down from the room to the right, this is invitingly local although it appears to have had a spruce-up in recent years. There's a largish public bar to the left (commandeered by poker players on my visit) with a slightly smaller lounge bar to the right. A four ale line-up consisted of two nationals and two locals - Sharp's Doom Bar, Fuller's London Pride, Hooky Norton Old Hooky and Loose Cannon Abingdon Bridge (the latter spot-on). Service behind the jump was a bit erratic, but the locals were a friendly bunch, and like The Cricketers Arms in Littleworth, this is another of the 'Oxford Surrounds' pubs worth a drop into.
