Alan Winfield left this review about Queen Adelaide

The Queen Adelaide used to be a Shipstones tied house.
This pub has great views of Nottingham city centre from the car park, once inside here the pub has'nt been altered for years it still has the same layout as it did in 1982 when i first went in here, the bar is to the right this is a longish room there is also a lounge to the left which is smartish and has got a pinball machine in the corner there are no handpumps in this room but there is a list of beers available, you cannot walk through from the bar to the lounge without going outside and walking across the front of the pub.
There is also a function room at the back of the pub this room was'nt in use on my visit.
There were four real ales on the bar i had a drink of Full Mash Wild Card this was light in colour and very drinkable the other beers were York jack O Lantern, Slaters Premium bitter and Batemans XB.
This pub is well worth a visit for the beer, views and seeing a pub like it used to be.
