Alan Winfield left this review about The Old Rose

The Old Rose was a decent looking bare brick built pub that was situated just off ilkeston road.
Once inside there was a seperate lounge and bar,i have only had a drink in the bar which i thought was quite a nice room.
The Old Rose was a Whitbread tied house and there were no real ales on here, when i was in here i usually had a drink of keg Whitbread Trophey bitter which was a pretty bad drink.
This pub has now been pulled down, yet another Nottingham pub to bite the dust.
