Blue Scrumpy left this review about The White Swan Inn

Another attractive Northamptonshire pub set in the village of Holcot, not too far from Pitsford Reservoir.

A small car park at the front contained a small minibus belonging to the pub, which apparently ferries locals to and from the pub for free during the week. I've not seen something like this for a while. So, all credit to the ingenuity.

The landlord said hello to us in the car park as we arrived. But this was another local pub with a fairly poor beer selection. 3 national beers awaited us - Morland Old Speckled Hen, Timothy Taylor Landlord & Butcombe Original. There was no real cider.

With just a couple of other locals at the bar, the pub was fairly quiet. Rugby was showing on the TV. We stayed in the right-hand side of the pub. Although it seemed like there was another room or two on the other side of the pub.

Kevin Simons left this review about The White Swan Inn

Since new owner took over a couple of months ago, it's not clear whether the Swan wants to be a gastro pub or a local pub. £6.95 for ham, egg and chips is a bit OTT on a weekday lunchtime. Good selection of well kept beers, odd mix of furniture, but with the loss of the bar to what is now a restaurant (with the wooden beams now painted lilac!), it isn't quite a pub any more.
