Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about The Brown Cow

Bigger than it first appears, this place gives the impression of being an estate-type pub with few visitors despite being close to Port Sunlight (probably because it is somewhat hidden on the 'wrong' side of the station). Inside, it has been opened out for form one large 'L'-shaped room. Pool table. Patio and grassed beer gardens to rear. Two disused handpumps, and no keg beers of any interest, so it was a quick bottle of Thatchers Green Goblin cider (£2.50) and I was off.
