Real Ale Ray left this review about The Counting House

This large open plan pub was a former bank, hence the name. They have four handpumps and George Wright brewery features here on a regular basis, which is a locale less than three miles away. The George Wright Cheeky Pheasant had just finished, nevertheless the GW Roman Black was also good. The pub was similar to a Spoons, especially as the loos were upstairs. The loos were also unusual as the washroom area was shared from both the male and female toilets.
