Steve C left this review about The Two Brewers

This backstreet boozer is a real throwback to the 1970s and I’d imagine not much has changed here in the last thirty five years. There is a bar in the centre that splits the pub in two with a lounge bar to the right with dated décor and an old gas heater that wouldn’t look out of place in a pensioner’s flat. The left hand side bar has a pool table and two dartboards and a couple of locals were watching athletics on the TV. The landlady seemed very popular with the locals, but she was a little weary of me, which led me to believe that his place doesn’t get much new trade. There was even a sign in the window that said ‘travellers strictly by appointment only’ which I thought a bit odd, especially for a central London pub.

There is no real ale leaving only a standard draught selection, but the Guinness was pretty good.

I’d probably walk on by if in the area again.
