Tris C left this review about The Two Bridges

Dating from 1793 as the King of Prussia, this was rebuilt in 1897 and renamed the King of Belgium in 1914, probably due to the outbreak of World War I, the current name dating from 2019, presumably a reference to the location between London and Tower bridges.
The place looks a fright from the outside but is marginally better than it appears. Naturally there’s virtually nothing remaining of the original interior, apart from some lovely polychromatic glazed tiling to dado height to the left-hand wall, then a fine pink marble fireplace – surprisingly, with a welcoming coal effect gas fire – to the right, rear. Thereafter, photos are viewable on the website’s gallery, including multiple TVs showing a selection of sporting activities – some on a video wall – and flashing games machines; a ‘traditional pub’ as claimed on the website, this is not. One element of interest is the commanding balustraded staircase going up to the restaurant area, which doubles as a function room. Customers were a mix of millennials.
Surprisingly, there was some ale to be had in the form of Sussex Best (pint glass over the pump) and Landlord at £2.60 a half and nice, served by a friendly barmaid.
For all the visual assaults, this place is a lot cheaper than the Tower Bridge Arms and my half was a far more enjoyable drink; it’s a real pity though that virtually nothing of the original pub remains.

The name far up on the side reveals this was once called The King of Belgium. Now one large room with central island bar, although you can see where the internal partitions once stood. At time of visit was table waiter service only. Two handpumps - A Weetwood's Bitter was sampled but sadly not in very good condition, despite Cask Marque listing. The food was proper pub fare rather than gastro, very good, and not ridiculously overpriced.

Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about The Bridge Lounge

Modernised pub, with an attractive island bar and large windows so not too dark despite purple colour scheme at the rear. Upstairs mezzanine acting as a dining area (but closed off on my latest visit for a private function). Plain furniture and decor. Friendly and efficient service. Only has two handpumps, and one of these was off on this occasion, but still had a good pint of Old Speckled Hen. Overall, not a bad spot despite the limited real ale availability.

The island bar in this place takes up most of the pub making it a bit of a squeeze if a few people are in. Adnams and Bread of Heaven were the ale choices along with some standard and premium lagers. It took a while to get the attention of one of the barmaids, but she served a good pint of BoH when she finally got around to me.

I didn't really like it in here and I doubt that I will go back.
