A random stop-off, mainly due to the beautiful green glazed exterior tiling and ceramic yellow lettering alongside some original features such as the saloon bar doors. Rather less character within, an opened-out main bar with a further area beyond. Tight semi-booths to the right with exposed brick and some colourful diamond-shaped glass in the windows to left. Rear hand area painted deep red. Trip to the traps takes in a walk via nice mosaic flooring and more original doors. Overloud piped music which, when combined with the rattling cacophony of punter noise in the less-than-furnished interior, made for a racket that meant holding a conversation was rather difficult (this on a Saturday afternoon as well). A wizened old white man with a massive set of dreds made for an impromptu pub feature. Discovered on my return home the pub is actually GBG 2014 listed. Four pumps, three ales: ELB, Arbor Stout (fair) and Adnams (good) with handled pots as standard. Some interesting fridge-based and keg beers. A fair stop but not one to go out of the way for, GBG or not.

Corner pub on Exmouth Market, full glazing to the street with stained glass diamonds at the top.

Subdued lighting with candles on the tables. There are small booth wood seats on one side & wooden tables & chairs elsewhere. The Brick wall adjacent the booths has various b/w human animal pictures in frames.

4 real ales & many bottle, the Tiny Rebel on draft I had was exceptional. Well deserved Good Beer Guide 2014 entry.

Very good gastro-syle pub but they also major on good beer.4 handpumps with always a London beer -8 or so keg pumps and a good bottle selection. One room long bar with friendly staff.Lots of ouside seating and a youngish clientele make this a really good pub. i like it.

There was just the one ale on during my visit – London Pride of course, at a pretty standard price of £3.20 a pint. Furnishings in the main room consisted of a couple of sofas that had seen better days, two or three chairs, plus some stools at the bar and at a ledge by the front window. A separate room at the back, reached via an archway on the left, - the Market Bar judging by the signage on the door - contains a single table plus some seating, as well as a pool table. This is a fairly dismal and dreary pub, and I don’t expect to visit again.

I've been disappointed with the beer quality in this pub on both of my visits and frankly it was an unfriendly place that I wanted to get out of as quickly as possible.

If this was a hospital you would definitely contract MRSA, avoid at all costs.
