Dating from 1868, the pub takes its name not from Steve Jobs, but German aristocracy.
Another pub that doesn’t benefit from its Earl’s Court location. The interior is plain with nothing of note remaining, except the fine carved wood fireplace surround. The floor is modern boarded, furniture is simple and the bar array very modern, giving the place a wine bar feel, with typical wine bar customers, who wouldn’t be seen dead in the Courtfield next door. There’s food, which can be viewed at length on the pub’s website gallery and a TV with the sound off, doing sod all.
Pride and Naked Ladies were on offer, the latter costing £2.80 a half and good, though making this one of the steeper establishments in the area.
This is a plain pub, where you can get a decent drink. It’s ok for a swift one, but if I were to spend any time in the area, it would be in the King’s Head, round the back.

Rex Rattus left this review about Prince Of Teck

A unique pub name, the German noble family of Teck were related to the British royal family through Mary of Teck, who was the wife of George V. A pub traditionally with an Australian following, I remember a Jasper Carrot sketch many years ago when he entered this pub to be rude about Australia, and then to emerge with a cricket bat up his jacksy. They don't make comedy like that now.

I remember this pub from when I worked at Earls Court in the 80s, and obviously it's now nothing like the pub I remember. The pub's been completely stripped out now, with a couple of tall tables/tall stools by the windows, and mainly recycled and well scrubbed dining room tables and normal chairs elsewhere. But they have retained a very nice wood-framed marble fireplace tucked away at the back past the bar counter.

They did have two ales on - London Pride and Twickenham Naked Ladies (£2.50 a half). I was in early enough to see the breakfast menu (available from 08.30) with the "Full Teck English breakfast" at £8.95.

All in all this is now a very nondescript and ordinary place, typical of the area. The Naked Ladies was good though, which of course it should be at that price.

Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about Prince Of Teck

Refurbished pub with little sense of character, either in the main bar area or upstairs where there is another bar / dining room of similar size. Two real ales downstairs: Pride and Wainwright (£4.20, served in the right glass but not in the best condition), but none at first-floor level. Nothing much has changed since my last visit in 2009, including the beer quality which was dubious then too.

This place maybe ok for a drink on a weekend night when out with a large group or maybe for the football which can be seen on a projector screen, but make sure you take plenty of money as I was charged £1.90 for a half of Guinness.

There is a bar upstairs which was closed on my daytime visit, but if it is anything like the main bar it is probably worth missing.
