Was the Shakespeare until October 2007, this is now more a lounge bar than a pub and not a nice one at that: it's all a bit over the top, with mood lighting and stool table so high you virtually have to lift your pint *down* to your mouth.
Of course there's no real ale and my bottle of cider cost £6.00 - yes, that's £6.00!!!
This place is probably best avoided unless you're both desperate for a place with a late licence and are rich...
