I first visited the Burton Arms with two mates while doing a large weekend pub crawl of Lincoln back on 26th March 1983.
This was a decent corner pub that was a John Smiths tied house at the time of our visit,no real ales on the first visit here.
On more recent visits with my wife when in Lincoln the pub has stocked real ales.

The photo i have just submitted was taken 27 days ago,so pizza hut must have been very quick in turning this pub into one there places in three weeks.

A tidy corner pub with rear patio. The pub is in white render with blue paintwork around the corner entrance and modern etched glass windows. It has recently been rennovated. It looks Victorian, with a series of upper sash windows and one modern projecting bow.

The interior has a couple of areas, although it is open-plan, with a long bar area reaching to the back and a lounge around the other side of the bar, through an arch. The decor in the bar has coffee and yellow, walls, with a white upper and wall and ceiling. There is a red carpet and general chairs and tables. Up a couple of steps, at the back, there is a pool table. There was a TV, with Vintage channel on and the music was mixed and at a decent level. Interest was supplied by some general prints, mirrors and Jubilee stuff. The lounge is in similar decor, with a deffierent carpet. There is perimeter and table seating here, and it is more of a food area. I didn't eat so can't comment on that. There are pots and violins on the wall and a TV, which wasn't on. The service was fine and there were just a couple of people in.

Beer; usual tap stuff with Hobgoblin and Black Sheep on handpull - the Hobgoblin was OK

A smart place, with pub games. The real ales were generic and just OK. Happy to pop in for one.
