Attractive looking backstreet pub. Unfortunately the inside is a ludicrously awful gloomy let-down (dark green and black!) with the only light coming from the emergency exit floodlights like a commercial sex dungeon. No heating, it was colder inside than out. A gin o’ clock timepiece from the Home Bargains basement to make my eyes roll. Three ales on, my half of Pride turned into a Thatchers Gold via a simpleton barmaid; CBA to argue the toss as the barmaid was clearly dim-witted enough to have not even contemplate refunding the difference if I had. Licky black Labrador from one of the punters, I’m sure BRAPA would be twogging at this. Dismal performance, dreadful pub. I suspect it’s not long for this world.
