Steve of N21 left this review about The Kings Head
The Kings Head is a nice village pub tucked away at the end of the High Street in Haddenham where it creates a dead end.
The pub was apparently originally a Tap Room dating back to the 14th Century, although the current building is largely after the 17th Century when the building was badly damaged by fire.
Internally it retains a traditional décor with a carpeted main bar area with velvet covered bar stools and wooden tables and chairs and then a separate wood floored area with wooden tables and chairs which looked like it was primarily for dining.
Then externally there are wooden bench seating to the front of the pub and a nice secluded garden area at the back of the pub.
I believe it is Punch taverns owned and the three beers on hand pumps were London Pride, Sharp’s Doom Bar and Brakspear Bitter, which wasn’t the most inspiring selection , but the Pride was a well kept pint and the Kings Head was a very pleasant pub to enjoy it in.
