Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about Railway Inn

Now a Steamin' Billy Brewing house, this is the first pub you see when leaving the station and it looks good too in its latest guise. Retaining two separate bars, one with two further small rooms beyond plus a larger seating / dining area at the back, it retains some character whilst having been refurbished in a semi-traditional style. The in-house Tipsy Fisherman, Billy (£3.60) and 1485 were available from the various handpumps divided between the two counters, together with Otter Bitter as a guest.

This is a Steamin`Billy pub close to the railway station and there was a packed house here at around 1-30 yesterday with plenty of diners, drinkers and surprisingly a 5 piece jazz band giving it plenty, although not sure if this is a regular feature or it was someone's party. As it was so crowded could not say what the number of cask beers was but i did see 3 from Steamin` Billy and one the Blue Monkey Brewery.

Very handy for the train station, so we managed to get a decent pint of Tipsy Fisherman before a short dash across the road for the train. This large traditional pub was busy on our arrival and service was fast and efficient. The pub features a new good sized extension along the left hand side, which caters mostly for diners. A decent pub this one with four ales on pump.

This is no longer a Marston's pub but a Steamin' Billy outlet. It retains two completely separate bars and I chose the "public" side. This is a long room with laminate tile flooring and benches along the walls. The whole place seems to have been renovated without trashing it. There is a new looking conservatory at the rear. Each side of the bar has four hand pumps which on my visit had the three Steamin' Billy beers, Charnwood Vardy's Volley & one I couldn't read and Belvoir Dark Horse Mild. Due to the two town micropubs not opening until 14:00 I had time to try the three Steamin' Billy beers Thirsty Fisherman (£3.10), Bitter (£3.20) and 1485 (£3.40) all of which were first class. Steamin' Billy don't brew their beer any more but their pubs seems to be good places and this is no exception.
