This pub became a restaurant called Saffron Blue and the latest signage says it was an Indian restaurant called Milons, but it is now vacant.

Alan Winfield left this review about Ashby Court Hotel

The Ashby Court Hotel was a decent looking pub with a mock tudor front, the pub was at the eastern end of Ashbys shopping street.
Once inside the pub had a very smart lounge to the left and a seperate restaurant to the right, the lounge was carpeted and had comfy seating.
There were two real ales on the bar,i had a drink of Shardlow Eaton which was a nice drink, the other beer was Pedigree.
This was not really my sort of pub,but the beer was decent enough.
