Komakino . left this review about The Pomeroy Inn

Formerly The Pineapple (and looking at John McGraw's photo, possibly a Thai restaurant inbetween), this is now an upmarket gastro boozer set back from the road with fairy-lit trees guiding the way to the entrance. A brightly-lit L-shaped bar proffered a mundane selection of Sharp's Doom Bar, Fuller's London Pride and Abbot Ale, so with an alternate craft palette of Sierra Nevada Pale Ale, Meantime London Lager and Meantime Pale Ale, it was a half of the latter. The decor is more boutique hotel lobby than public house with part-tiled, part-hessian carpet floor, seating wraps bearing the pub name, Native American-style motifs and mirror-panelled walls. A dining area is located to the left of the bar which is where the main focus is. Muzak is aptly funky and laid back in a Dmitri From Paris kind of way and an A-board out front proclaiming deals on Prosecco is probably a warning to the curious.
