Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about Ye Olde Hob Inn

Unusual (for the area) thatched inn that looks a picture, and thankfully saved from a potentially devastating fire in 2018. Anyway, it although it features several seating / dining areas under a low ceiling on each side of the central servery, each of these are narrow so the multiplicity of wooden benches out front certainly help boost capacity. Three cask beers on handpump, including Hobgoblin and Theakston's Summit 'cold pale ale' (£3.70) that thankfully proved not to be as 'extra chilled' as the point-of-sale material and bespoke glass suggested.

Can only vouch for this place at lunchtimes and it seems pretty nice. Very cosy old place with thatched roof.
