Called in Tuesday 2nd of December nice friendly crack with a good set of lads round the bar made me feel welcome so stayed for a few the chat was good nice and warm on a cold night what more do you want. Don,t live far away so can see us calling more often

Probably the best food for many miles.
In a large busy village far enough away from Preston and Blackpool for it to keep a rural feel. Visited many times early Friday lunch time it’s a firm favourite of mine. With 4 good size rooms, Pool in one, TV in another, Lounge and Bar there’s a place for everyone.
CAMRA devotees will have a fine time in this Award Winning Bass pub, with at least 4 guest Ales changing regularly .The food is especially Noteworthy, Using Local Produce, a good Menu and a wonderful specials board, no-one should be disappointed, Except Tuesdays when no food is available.
All Amenities are clean and tidy with no large steps to impede the less mobile.
