This pub has recently re-opened with Karaoke & Disco every Friday & Saturday. Only 2.50 for all pints. Being re-furbished to make the place look more inviting. Always have special offers on at the weekend and Live Football. Thursdays special offers are 2.00 a Pint. Very nice atmosphere and friendly welcoming staff.

Closed down again but due to open August Bank Holiday weekend. Hope they have done something to make the place better. If not will close again

This pub closed and then re opened under new management. Decided to give the place a go. Oh dear. Poor. New management have done nothing to the place and if you like fizzy chemical beer in a tatty enviroment then this is the place to go. Numerous people hanging around the door giving a threatening start to any visit. Not going to encourage passing trade to pop in for one. Bar staff/owners and polite and pleasant but undone by the rest of what was a very poor experience. Pubs like this need to realise they are competing against many things one of which is people being at home with cheap supermarket beers. You have to be better than this or its closeville. You have to give the punter a reason to go out to your premises and am afraid the Harpers will not in the forseeable future be seeing any of my readies. A very poor pub.
