This place closed shortly after my last visit. Not soon enough. Understand it is due to open with a connection to the award winning Railway in Chorley. If they re create even half of the atmosphere then this would be a massive step up for this pub. I cannot rate it as have not been in since it closed

Oh dear. Doesnt deserve to be open. If you like a dirty pub with no atmosphere no real ale and punters of an age of about 16 then this is the place to be. At 8pm there were still 2 and 3 year olds running around the bar but if the parents are only 16 drinking babyshams and largers you can understand everything that is wrong with this place. One real ale pump. No real ale on. When asked why none was available was told it was xmas and new year only and the owner was glad when the one barrel was gone because they always lost money on it. Hello its what the discerning drinker is looking for nowadays. Crap pub crap atmosphere crap staff. All in all avoid this place. I give it a review of 1. Only because the system doesnt allow negative numbers.
