The cask Doom Bar has gone and the handpump removed, so it was two halves of Stella in plastic cups. The place feels like it's been left behind in the 80's and some of the customers were 'characters'. Pool table.

After a period of being up for sale I think it may have a new owner. Certainly some of the GK signage has gone and there is now a solitary ale - Doom Bar - on a pump.
November 2011
Isolated keg-only GK pub that is usually occupied only by bus drivers and cattle from the nearby market, except on weekends when a young and rowdy crowd gather and the place pumps out music at ear-splitting volumes. Any place that advertises alternate male/female strip nights tells you a lot of what you need to know.
