Bucking Fastard left this review about The Coach & Horses

I wondered why nobody had reviewed this pub and now I know why.The interior is quite large with several different areas ,two raised with one offering a series of sofas under a flatscreen, the other a three sided banquette. At the rear of the building are two pool tables, and beyond some exposed timbers there is a seating area. There is a mix of flooring,an unused chimney breast and the bar back is mirrored but the whole lacks atmosphere and feels more functional than loved.
At the bar standard keg fonts feature large, while the two handpumps were both drawing Doom Bar,out of condition and cloudy.
I arrived at 4pm ,and found a group of mouthy chavs in residence, profanities flowed and they felt entitled to dominate proceedings.Sky TV was being screened and played at high volume through the speaker system, but this couldn't drown them out.It didn't feel at all friendly.
Live music occurs on Saturdays ,which may bring some punters in,but I can see no reason to return.
