One half of the pub, possibly an extension, is trying to be a trendy evening venue for Hemel's youth, which takes something away from a traditional pub feel. Couple of small TV's, primarily a lager pub, one cask ale Doombar at £3.05, wasn't particularly good. Of the four pubs on the old High Street this is the one I'm least likely to return to.
