An upmarket brasserie. One very small sofa area for drinking, everywhere else is starched white tablecloths and a slight bafflement on faces when you say you’re on here for a drink. The two plus points are the light and airy rear conservatory extension and the nice front seating which allows for nice views over the way. Two ales, Rebellion IPA and Tribute (hazy and rather listless). Desmond grumbled about his lemonade, it came from a bottle which had clearly been open a week. The most expensive round of the day with half a sub-standard ale and a sub-standard lemonade clocking in at £4.40. You have been warned…
