All change, pub saved & bought by local community. Needs a refurb so not yet open
"CONTRACTS have now been exchanged and locals are getting ready to open the doors of their favourite pub.
It will be all hands to the pump on Saturday as dozens of people are expected at a huge clean-up at the Fox and Hounds in Denmead.
In one of the first moves of its kind in the area, campaigners raised more than £300,000 to buy the 140-year-old building to stop it being bulldozed for housing. "

Went here Friday lunchtime for a "leaving do"
Not too busy but a nice convivial atmosphere when I arrived
Plenty of choice for beer, but I stuck to the Fuller's London Pride, which went down a treat
Although only two bar staff on they were attentive & efficient, no need to try & "catch their eye" thay seemed well aware when a top up was needed
Never tried the food so unable to comment on it
Only problem I would say is lack of car parking space at busy times as I found out a few weeks back on a sunny Sunday, and the narrow road would cause parking problems by parking in road, shame
