Via WhatPub "This pub is now shut (September) presumably pending its change of use to a Darauchini Indian Restaurant"

Locals-only boozer in a surprisingly good state of repair. L-shaped with modern third length wood panelling and exposed herringbone brick walls. Loud modern chart music provided a dubious ambience. Five pumps but only Rebellion IPA actually on, though it came out well enough. Desmond’s lemonade marked as poor. Probably could achieve more - it has the basics in place. Rated 6

Has 3 real ales on. Food was wonderful and full of home made taste! They have food on from 12-2 and 6-9. Husband had Venison Casserole and I had the Rabbit pie which melted in my mouth! It is getting very popular so check which days are quiet!! It really is a traditional village pub in suburbia! The atmosphere is great with open fires and the landlord Andre and landlady Heidi made us feel really welcome! They have a lively sense of humour and quick wit. We are definitely going to make this place our regular stop!!
