Streetbridge Inn, Failsworth, Oldham

The Streetbridge Inn has a rectangular bar with a bar counter across the rear that looks like it has been made of untreated fence panels. The fence theme runs throughout the bar and into the toilets where cut away beer kegs are used as urinals and sinks. Back in the bar there are rows of fairy lights on the ceiling and large bulbs hang on thick rope. I’m not really sure what look the designer was going for, but it felt very recycled. Televisions throughout were airing horse racing and I noted the two dartboards on the rear wall to the right of the counter. Standard keg, Peroni and Madri were the draught options. The service is pub’s location dictates that I’ll not be revisiting.
