Helen Iwanczuk left this review about The Plaisterers Arms

I visited the Plaisterers Arms with my partner and close friends a few nights ago it is an intriguing place. As you walk in the main door the space is deceptive, it is split level with two bars. At the time of writing, one of the bars was closed because of flooding - it didn't deter any customers though! The interior has a cosy ambience because of the bare stone walls, glowing fire (very nice on a cold November evening) and candles and nightlights on the tables. The are interesting pictures and photographs to look at, knick-knacks adorn the shelves. We chose a table right next to the fire - lovely. The ales on offer were, Butty Batch, HPA, Tribute and one other which I can't remember - too busy soaking up the ambience! The only drawback is it's not wheelchair accessible, mind those steps folks.
