David Gethyn-Jones left this review about Berkeley Hunt Inn

This should righly be listed as 'Ted Lords' as that's how it's known locally, after its landlord of 30+ years' standing.
Situated on (aptly named) Tite Point, between the Severn and the Gloucester & Sharpness Canal, the views over the sandbanks of 'The Noose' are stunning.
The only thing to have changed in 30 years is the till (used to be an 'Arkwright' affair). Small rooms, flag floor and ships-timber beams are still the order of the day.
Don't expect fancy food, piped musak or posh wines - this is a proper Gloucestershire country pub unsullied by the 21st century.
Anyway, there's nothing better than a pint of local brew, pickled egg and packet of salt'n vinegar, as you watch the Pinkfeet flighting across the sands.
