Komakino . left this review about The Kings Arms

A large Inter-War pub opposite a Morrison's store and the first you encounter if heading in from Dunstable. This retains its original three-room layout, with main bar far right, a standalone snug / sitting room in the middle and a games room far left with its own bar. The latter two were unpopulated on my visit, with a handful of locals in attendance in the main bar. A mixture of red, pink and green-wallpapered walls, newish patterned carpet and boarded bar apron the bar itself appears original - dark wood with over bar glass rack, supported by wooden posts. Located on a roundabout, the building is a semi-L-shape, but chamfered a couple of times and the bar snakes around via an angle or three to allow punters a decent area to congregate. There is also a mixture of bench and table seating around the windowed periphery. The sole ale (two stumps: one unclipped) was Sharp's Doom Bar, so little adventure here, and two large flat screens dominated either end of the room showing live sports. A jukebox was also undergoing repair during my visit, and its eventual repair saw music at an overloud volume dominate proceedings. A curio but nothing more, and probably best to make this the first of an HR crawl.
