L shaped interior in bare wood. 3 real ales and food served. Just off the main road.

Steve C left this review about Coopers Cask

My visit to the Coopers Cask on Tuesday night coincided with the end of the weekly quiz that starts at 20:00. This felt more like a bar than a pub and there were four or five teams that half-filled the bar area. There is some more seating to the rear, but this isn’t the biggest place. The bar is located over to the right and is stocked with premium draught products and supports four hand pumps. Two of these were unused leaving Harvey’s Best as the ale option and Old Rosie for the cider fans. There was some very low background music which is probably louder on non-quiz evenings. Obviously the plasma above the door was turned off, but I didn’t spot any Sky sports advertisements. I didn’t notice any signs for a garden, but there are three picnic tables on the path out the front.

I found this place to be a tad pretentious, but this can be the nature of quizzes and the people they attract. Quiz or not I didn’t really settle in here and I do not plan to revisit anytime soon.
