This is a friendly local pub that keeps very good pints of Abbott Ale and Old Rosie Cider. They also do the usual lagers and a Courage Best Keg Bitter. The pub has quite an old fashioned decor, but they also have a fairly large LCD TV on the wall and a projection screen for really popular events. There are 2 dart boards and a pool table squeezed into what is really quite a small building, that is some 150+ years old. They do a very good value for money Sunday Roast and they have a pleasant beer garden in the back with a car park for around 20 cars behind that.
All in all, a nice locals pub that will happily cater for anybody.
