This is a sport orientated pub were I found a very friendly barmaid and an amiable group of locals.
Around to the right of the front bar area the pub opens up into a larger area housing three pool tables and a dartboard. There is a DJ booth and once a few tables and chairs are moved a dance floor opens up. There was no dancing going on during the week night I visited, but there was an organised poker night that had attracted a good attendance.
Out the back door there are some picnic tables on a paved area which leads to a thin grassed area the runs alongside a large car park.
There is only a standard draught selection so this is certainly not a pub for an ale connoisseur, but it is fine for watching the match on Sky or for some pub games.
