More of restaurant than a pub but there were a couple of customers enjoying a pint when we popped in. £ beers on - Proper Job, Jaipur and Bombardier. The Proper Job was fine.

Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about The Bridge House

Doesn't particularly look like a pub from a distance, with the red sign looking more like something you would see outside a fish-and-chip shop). Getting closer, you see that food and accommodation is offered, and you have to be quite near before all becomes clear. The entrance to the bar is from the side car park, and this room is the most traditional element inside. To the front, there is a slightly raised refurbished lounge area with plain modern furniture and decor, together with a much larger dining area at the back that looks more like an Indian restaurant in style. Two handpumps on the counter, offering Abbot and Holden's Golden Glow (£3.50).

Found this place with use of the pubs app on the Sat Nav when trying to find a decent place to eat just off the M6 instead of the motorway services.
It’s well described by Soup Dragon below and would concur that it is more a restaurant than a pub.
Quite modern decor which would look like it has been made over during recent times.
There is a small central bar area when you come in through the front door and then the large restaurant section is off to the left and the smaller bar lounge area with brown leather seating is off to the right.
Quite an extensive food menu but we only had a couple of Jackets, which were very good and reasonably priced. Looks like a husband and wife team running it and the service was friendly and efficient.
The bar does have two ale pumps , which were Elgoods Cambridge and Holdens Golden Glow. Both were well kept and the Holdens was a particularly good pint.
As Soup says, not the place to go for a evening beer session,. But if you’re up and down the motorway and looking for decent pub food and a good pint, then this is only three miles from J13 of the M6, and I’ll certainly be utilising it again for this purpose when passing through.
