About
“Sultry, scintillating lead vocals, mountains of energy. Something for every die-hard Rock fan” Our City Radio
“Great depth, brilliantly unorthodox. Very impressive” Musical Outcast
Dark Sky Park was born on a rooftop in Tenerife at 3am, when Debbie Bilson and
Ainsley Stones sat by the rooftop pool surrounded by empty bottles writing the iconic
“Russian Doll” on a lute like travel guitar. In fact half the forthcoming album was
written this way before the management forcibly brought them down from the roof...
spoilsports!
On that rooftop they cultivated a sound that has dirty, rhythmic guitar riffs that re-
capture the true spirit of British rock music. Catchy, innovative songs are led by a
sultry female vocalist and lead guitarist the likes of which has not been seen for an
age. The resounding drums and richness of the bass add a deep unmistakeable edge to
these ageless classics in the making.
Drawing influences from timeless, inspirational artists such as Te Beatles and David
Bowie; with the heavy distinctive edge of Queens of the Stone Age, Soundgarden and
Black Sabbath, these guys will be up there with the best. Their fresh and ground-
breaking sound will resonate through the ether for years to come
