When
7pm - 10pm, Sun 6th Dec
About
The Open Mic formerly known as the Princess Of Wails, based at Stratford's Prince of Wales pub for the last 6 years, is now at Sinbin every Sunday !
Resident backing musicians available for singers, or just come and do your own thing.
FREE ENTRY - sign up in advance with Ed : 07533 851205, preferably by text on Sunday morning.
The fun starts at 7pm - come and support local talent !
-------------------------------------
Host Ed Furst (also spare bass or lead guitarist) and main optional keyboard accompanist Tony Regan intend to continue building on what has evolved over the last six years and welcome all the usual suspects, on and off stage.
All genres are welcome. Some performers bring a guitar, others use the house keyboard, guitar and/or drums, some play solo, others use our tame accompanists and, usually towards the end of the night, some pro-standard musicians form instant rock, blues or whatever bands, for twenty minute slots, to keep themselves in practice. The venue also provides back-line and a drum kit without breakables.
Depending on the night, additional musical backup may be available from Ed Marks on drums and/or various other instrumentalists... Only performers of unique, original (self-written) material may bring backing tracks (on an mp3 player preferably). Singers performing covers must use the house musicians. (We learn MORE SONGS that way ... )
