So it's almost upon us once again, Sheffield's biggest musical weekend of the year, Tramlines 2017, and boy do we have a belter of a line up for you! 32 acts over 3 days, no wristbands or tickets required and more talent than you can shake a ruddy stick at! (We dare say you would need a full tree, perhaps even several trees, enough for a small glade).

So without further ado, here are the facts about the acts:

FRIDAY (16:30-03:00) ////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////

17:30: PYRAMIDS - Three instruments. Twenty pedals. A lot of lovely noise.

18:15: Just Mammals - Nouveau Retro good time party vibes.

19:00: Brother's Gun - Powerful yet melodic psych/rock/blues.

19:45: BEAR CHEST - Filthy rock n roll. Sounds like leather and sweat.

20:30: Mysteron - Caped psychedelic, alternative garage pop with sounds reminiscent of Delia Derbyshire. Expect crooning, screaming, self-destruction

21:20: RALE - RALE unify Rock, New Wave Pop and a sense of modern-day unease

22:15: Vulgarians - Vulgar yet poetic and unashamedly loud, Vulgarians reinvent The Fall era post punk for the modern age.

23:00 - 03:00: DJ TBC

SATURDAY (13:00 - 03:00) /////////////////////////////////////////////////////

13:30: Little Imp - Super-charged melodies, heartfelt earworms from mischievous female singer-songwriter and former 'The Beat' drummer.

14:10: Emma Crowder - Sheffield based singer-songwriter championed by BBC Introducing and fresh from support slots with Gabrielle Aplin.

15:00: Fat Spatula - More groove than a lathe operators' convention. Weirdo garage / alt-rock.

15:45: Creeping Jean - Nostalgic, insidious beat pop.

16:30: Ash Gray & Couch Fire - Originally from Austin, Texas, Gray and his trio play punk energised Texas rock.

17:15: The Silverfish - Alternative pop rock five piece with melodic hooks and experimental structure

18:00: Doctor B - Face melting psych rock band from sheffield.

18:45: Dead Slow Hoot - Rich musical textures and sparse sonic landscapes to fill your ears with melancholy musings.

19:30: Caroline Francess - A powerful performance of diverse and enchanting odes to life; its joys and pitfalls.

20:15: Oh Papa - Surfy melodic pop, woozy licks and chill vibes.

21:00: Syrupp - Smooth sleepy slacker rock at varying volumes.

21:45: Life Aquatic Band - L.A.B - A cocktail of funk, disco and electro with hints of folk and jazz.

22:30: I Set The Sea On Fire - Sheffield Indie/ funk combining traditional Indie Rock with elements of Hip Hop, Funk and Grunge.

23:15 - 03:00: DJ TBC

SUNDAY (13:00 - 03:00) /////////////////////////////////////////////////////////

15:00: Andy P Davison - A one man Blues Rock n Roll Aural Odyssey.

15:30: The Stoops (Acoustic) - Melodic, catchy, bouncy, energetic, indie pop from Sheffield.

16:15: TEEFF - Fuzzy two-piece performing powerful blues rock.

17:00: Chicken Hearts - A little bit blues, a little bit sci-fi, a smattering of country and a whole lotta weird.

17:45: Mat Wale + Little Convoy - Alt. Country power trio.

18:30: Bring Me The Blonde - Four parts man, one part woman. Sheffield's only glam-noir band.

19:15: The BearCats - Energetic female fronted rock’n’roll / country /rockabilly band from Sheffield play covers & originals.

20:00: X Ray Cat Trio - Vampiric Rockabilly Surf from Leeds.

20:45: The Terrorsaurs - Atom Age Sounds from Swampland. A Rock Roll band with a unique mix of garage, surf & classic heaviness.

21:30: Rotten Love - Power punk from the mean streets of S7.

22:15: Captain Avery & the Cosmic Triceratops of Intergalactic Peace - Colourful, sparkly and completely over the top, CA&TICTOP provide an upbeat, lively close to the weekend.

23:00 - 03:00: Mango Disco Closing Party - Energetic alternative dance floor fillers with a tropical twist to bring the weekend to its inevitably messy climax...
