Daniel Payne, of Lubbock, Texas, is a songwriter of southwest-styled folk-blues and American country gothic. His music features traditional country influences with an edge for compelling and original storytelling. Daniel is on tour with a band in 2017 behind his latest full-length release, Tales for Undesirables-- his third full-length album. This new batch of tales features gothic imagery, ghost stories, murder ballads, and tense, sparse tearjerkers drawn from recent personal losses and misfortunes.
