About
Ian McNabb returns to the Cruck Barn with an exciting, brand new show In short - this will be one hell of a show!
Ian McNabb is one of our finest singer-songwriters, with a warm, rich singing voice and superb skills on the guitar. His band, The Icicle Works had hits in the UK and USA during the 80's and are perhaps best known for such classic singles as 'Love Is A Wonderful Colour', 'Understanding Jane' and 'Evangeline'.
Ian's solo career has been extraordinary - from his stunning debut 'Truth & Beauty', through the Mercury-Prize nominated 'Head Like A Rock' (which featured Neil Young's legendary backing group Crazy Horse), the half-acoustic/half-electric 'Before All Of This' (that spawned the Top 40 single 'Let The Young Girl Do What She Wants To') right up to the present day, where a new Ian McNabb album is always an event amongst his ever-widening group of fans and followers.
The last two Ian solo shows at the Cruck Barn were superb sell-outs - all predictions are that this show will sell-out even faster - don't delay!

Support comes from Plumhall- an award-winning acoustic duo featuring Michelle Plum (ex Chumbawamba) and Nick Hall (of legendary Yorkshire folk rockers The Hall Brothers). Combining superb harmonies, excellent musicianship and powerful songs into a stunning live show (that has garnered praise from the likes of The Wonder Stuff's Miles Hunt and Steve Knightley of Show Of Hands), the duo will perform songs from their acclaimed debut album 'Thundercloud' and their much-anticipated second. They will possibly be joined by a guest or two! More details later! Both performers have played all over the world (Michelle with Chumba and as singer-guitarist in the Chris Norman Band, Nick as session guitarist with Magna Carta) and bring that experience to their spiritual home (and the venue they were married in!) - the Cruck Barn.
