St. Patricks Weekend At The Swan And Helmet!, Northampton Central, Swan & Helmet

St. Patricks Weekend at the Swan and Helmet!!
Well folks it’s that time of year again... the countdown to St Patrick’s weekend begins!! As it falls on a Friday this weekend we here at the Swan and Helmet felt it only fair that turn it into a weekend celebration as opposed to one day. In honour of our patron saint we will have a jam packed weekend planned full of live traditional Irish music, Irish dancers, a few sing songs and of course plenty pints of Guinness to go around for all our lovely customers and friends. On the run up to our favourite weekend we will be opening early for live coverage of Cheltenham (any tips would be greatly appreciated!).
Kicking it off on Friday, St Patricks day, we will be opening at 11.30am because you know what they say- ‘you can’t say you’ve been drinking all day unless you start before noon ‘. To get you in the mood we will be serving St Patrick Day themed Jello shots behind the bar but get in quick as we will have limited stock. In order to help you all along with this we have the return of One 2 Many and N21 to have the craic and sing along with us from 3pm until the early hours. I’m sure those of you who were here last year are looking forward to their return. We will also have some lovely young Irish dancers popping in to give us a jig and a reel and get us into the dancing spirit and will have live coverage on Cheltenham on our screens.
For all you ready to keep the party going we will be open on Saturday at 12noon to help you on your way, we’re sound like that!! We will be showing live coverage on our TWO BIG SCREENS of the RBS Six Nations with Scotland v Italy at 12:30pm, France v Wales 2:45pm and Ireland v England 5:00pm. With us hopefully in the winning spirit One 2 Many and N21 will be kicking off after the game! is sure to keep the St Patricks weekend spirit in full swing with plenty dancing and some special offers behind the bar.
On Sunday for all you hardcore individuals we will be opening again at 12noon to help with those sore heads. Again there will be plenty songs, dance and Guinness to get us through to Monday morning.
We will posting some more live updates on this page closer to the day so please feel free to invite anyone you may feel would like to know to this group. Looking forward to seeing you all and for an amazing weekend here at the Swan and Helmet... the countdown has begun!!
