Based in Glasgow Scotland, built on a big love for the kaleidoscope of reggae inspired musical style found in Uk festivals.
Inspired along the way by the likes of Groundation, Manu Chao, The Cat Empire, Mungos Hifi and Zion train,
Skayaman’s sound has evolved into a heavyweight, upbeat, twisted dub experience with a positive vibe and on-point lyrical message. Musically aiming to melt the traditional live Ska and Roots feel together with a new style of digital sound system production.
They’ve released 3 EPs through their own label ‘MoreFreeVibe’
And the September of 2016 will see the unveiling of there self produced debut album.
Recently, they have been on tour with The Undercover Hippy
And shared stages in fields and cities around the UK with the likes of Only Joe, By The Rivers, and The Hempolics.
Their relentless enthusiasm, positivity and musical talent has
made sure they have become very familiar
faces in the northern UK music scene
and this is just
the beginning…
