Cap & Whippet, Norden, Rochdale

This is the sister pub to the Hop & Vine next door. The Hop & Vine is more into charcuterie boards etc. You can order the food from The Hop in here and the cask ale in here is available to order for next door. There are four handpump in here, which was probably a bit optimistic when Mike first opened. Usually there's only one available except at busier times. On this occasion the offering was AJ's Gold which was in good nick. It feels more like a small bar rather than a micropub, but we'll be coming back next time we're in Norden.
