This is a Black Country Ales pub with the usual comfortable seating layout and good ale choice from guest beers as well as their own beers. We chose Newark Pale Gold, Tollgate Red Storm and Magpie Cherry Raven and all were good.This is another one of their conversions from a bank building and wandering from one area to another you come across the old bank vault door.

A fantastic Georgian town house, previously a bank, in brick with a neo-classic frontage. Part of the Black Country Ales chain. The interior has a long room, decked out in fairly typical BCA style - gree, white, 1940s style wallpaper, with tartan covered bench seats! Very soft music, no TV. Old pictures are on the walls - a few sofas spoiling the overall feel. Service was very good and there was a mature clientele. Beer: the 3 BCAs plus several guests and ciders. I had the Derventio Lucretius which was ok. A great pub and one I would return to without question.

Another fine pub from the Black Country Ales group who can do no wrong in my eyes! A good bank conversion with a great selection of 10 ales and 2 ciders. First time I have seen Mr Grundy's - Lord Kitchener outside of Derby! Well worth a visit and a must do in Bewdley.
