The Burnt Pig, Ilkeston

The Burnt Pig is Ilkestons latest pub to open,it is a micro pub that is just off the busy south street. Once inside there is a small square shaped room with the bar on the right side,there is a narrow bench seat and two small tables a stools for seating,the floor looks like wood laminate,there is a separate room to the rear which is the same size as the front room,this room has anarrow bench seat and a some normal tables and chairs,there is an open fire which was socked with wood for colder days. There are five real ales on the bar,i had a drink of Blue Monkey Infinity which was a very well kept drink,the other beers were Marpool Otters Pocket,Springhead The Leveller,Oakham Scarlet Macaw and Totally Brewed Voodoo Stout. There are also a few real Ciders and a few single malt whiskies,crisps and pork scratching are also available. The front room was very busy with a good mix of drinkers. I quite liked this micro pub and will no doubt visit it again. Pub visited 13/6/2015
