Randomness Guide to London - Ravenscourt Arms entry

This tiny pub looks totally out of place siding up against the 13 storeys of the Premier Inn. It's very estate like and walking up towards the entrance I noticed the obligatory motorised wheelchair that is to be found outside most estate pubs! It is away from the main road, so unlike many pubs along King Street there is outside seating at the front. It is an Irish pub, but not so in-your-face as some Irish pubs can be. No real ale was spotted, but there is plenty of generic draught to choose from and the very friendly barmaid will serve you with a smile. The pool table is an added bonus and I would say to anyone passing by to ignore the exterior and give it a go as you'll be pleasantly surprised.
