Windmill Inn, Bristol

Traditional three roomed Castle Rock Pub, with the two largest either side of the front door. One quiet and the other containing a jukebox. Up to ten real ales from the excellent Castle Rock range including several guests. Also a good selection of continental bottle beers and at least one on draught. The quieter room to the left as you walk in has a large selection of malt whiskies. The pub also has a skittle alley in the upstairs room which also doubles as the function room. Accommodation is available. Food is served all day Saturday, lunch only on Sunday and lunch and evening Monday to Friday.

A little out of Portishead in a lovely position overlooking the Severn Estuary.The bar /dining area faces seaward and the view is dramatic as the huge ships pass close to the shore.Not sure of the beer but the food and wine was ok if a little pricey, you pay for the view.Large sloping carpark, a grassed area and a patio at the front make up the rest of it . Restricted access for a wheelchair.
